LaCie d2 Blu-ray Professional Review

The LaCie d2 Blu-ray Professional is an external Blu-ray DVD Rewriter capable of playing back up to four hours of HD video and storing up to 50GB of data per disc. This, LaCie's only current Blu-ray offering, connects via USB 2.0 and Firewire and comes bundled with software for both Windows and Mac. The drive itself is actually made by Panasonic and housed in a matte silver shell, designed by Neil Poulton for LaCie(French company). The main use of this drive is to back up and play large video files as well as Blu-ray DVD's.

Acer Aspire X3200 Review

The Acer Aspire X3200 is a small form factor desktop PC released in late 2008. Its small size makes it capable of being used in a home theater setup as an HTPC. Numerous variations are available, ranging from dual core to quad core models. At the top of the line is the AMD Phenom X4 Quad Core Processor 9100e based version, which comes with 4GB of DDR2 memory, a 640GB hard drive and Nvidia GeForce 9300e graphics. At the entry-level, users will find the Aspire X3200 with an AMD Althlon X2 Dual Core Processor 4850e, which comes with 4GB of DDR2.


Sony VAIO AW Series Review

The Sony VAIO AW Series is a PC designed for high quality entertainment. It comes loaded with Windows 7 and runs off of a NVIDIA GeForce 9000 series graphics card, higher quality than what is normally found in laptops of this price. The 1080p HD screen uses Sony's XBRITE-FullHD technology to enhance the picture and work together with the graphics card for a better viewing experience. A camera and a microphone are built in, as is a fingerprint security sensor, and a set of A/V control buttons to make movie watching easy without the use of a mouse.

HTC Touch Pro Review

The Touch Pro is HTC's flagship phone for 2008 and expands on the premium Touch Diamond with a full QWERTY keyboard and expandable microSD storage. It makes full use of its 2.8-inch VGA touch screen with the HTC's TouchFLO 3D, an interface designed to make navigation simple and intuitive. The 5-row QWERTY keyboard is great for typing up emails or making full use of the include Microsoft Office system. The HTC Touch Pro comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera which is standard for phones of its price range, though the auto-focus feature of the camera is more unique.

Lexmark X544n Review

The Lexmark X544n is an all-in-one color laser printer from Lexmark's Multifunction Laser series. The printer offers color print, scan, and copy functionality with a print speed of 25ppm in black or color at a resolution of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi.   It has a 250-sheet input tray with the option of adding a Duo Drawer for a second 550-sheet tray and a 100-sheet document feeder.  The printer differs with the X543dn since it includes a Super 3G fax modem but lacks the built-in duplex printing that comes with the X543dn.  The Lexmark X544n is designed with a 2-line LCD display, 500MHz processor, and 128MB of internal memory.  It is Energy Star qualified.


Sony VAIO TT Series Review

The Sony VAIO TT Series is a business oriented laptop that is designed for travel. It weighs only 2.9 pounds, making it light and easy to carry, and comes with a standard battery that can last from 4.5 to 7.5 hours, way more than other laptops in the VAIO line. At production, it was the smallest Blue-ray Disc notebook, with the 11.1" frame incorporating the high definition quality of the usually immobile technology. The Sony VAIO TT Series comes with an optional downgrade for Windows XP Professional, so the consumer does not have to get the newest Microsoft operating system.

Samsung LN52B540 Review

The Samsung LN52B540 is a 52" high definition LCD TV from Samsung's mid-range 5 Series. The TV features a native resolution of 1080p, dynamic contrast ratio of 60,000:1, and a 6ms response time. JVC KD-AVX77 Review

The JVC KD-AVX77 is an in-dash CD/DVD/USB car-multimedia receiver outfitted with a 5.4” ultra-wide monitor constructed from a high-resolution 192,000 pixel TFT panel cited as being capable of producing thousands of display colors. The second of two KD-AVX models, the KD-AVX77’s ultra-powerful display can display aspect ratios of up to 3:32:1 for a super-wide Cinemascope viewing experience. The monitor can also display multimedia video and AV input content at the same time in split screen mode. Plus, the KD-AVX77’s monitor functions as a full touch-screen, thereby allowing the entire TFT panel to dual-task as the receiver’s control panel.


Sony Ericsson K660 Review

The Sony Ericsson K660 is a mid-range candybar-style quadband mobile phone from Sony Ericsson's K Series. The phone features 3G technology with HSDPA for fast download speeds and has Bluetooth wireless technology for pairing with a headset or other Bluetooth device. It has an integrated media player with FM radio and a built-in 2-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom for taking photos and recording videos. It also includes video and picture blogging, RSS feeds, an Access Netfront browser, and has a landscape mode for horizontal web browsing. The K660 is designed with a large 240 x 320 pixel screen and comes with 32MB of internal memory as well as a memory stick.

Panasonic VIERA TC-P65V10 Review

Asus Eee PC 904HA Review

The Eee PC 904HA is a netbook PC that offers a blend of entertainment and business features from Asus' 2008 lineup. The netbook features an 8.9" LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and Asus' Super Hybrid Engine for improved performance. It offers up to 1GB of DDR2 memory and differs from the 900 model since it has an Intel Atom processor with a 160GB HDD. At 1.4kg, the Eee PC 904HA is heavier than the 900 due to the hard drive and also lacks the SD card reader that comes with the 900. It includes a 1.3-megapixel webcam, digital array microphone, and built-in stereo speakers. The netbook also offers Wi-Fi connectivity and has a VGA port and 3 USB ports.

HTC Touch Cruise Review

The HTC Touch Cruise is designed for consumers who like to travel and want a phone that can help them along the way. It is able to network in Europe and Asia using the HSDPA/WCDMA network as well as other places using Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE. It makes use of Bluetooth 2.0 with enhanced data rate and A2DP for stero wireless headsets, and can connect to Wi-Fi with IEE 802.11 b/g. The HTC Touch Cruise's camera is only a 3.2 megapizel color camera with a fixed focus, not exciting when compared to cameras that other phones have installed.

Epson Stylus Photo R320 Review

The Epson Stylus Photo R320 is a color inkjet printer that is specially designed for printing photos in a personal home setting. The printer is an upgrade to the R300 since it features a built-in color preview monitor for adjusting photos before printing. It offers a print speed of 15ppm in black and color with a print resolution of up to 5760 x 1440 pixels. The printer utilizes a 6-Color photo ink system and is capable of printing a 4" x 6" borderless photo in approximately 37 seconds. The Stylus Photo R320 is designed with a grey and silver finish and a 120-sheet paper input tray. It includes two USB ports and a memory card reader.

Antec Twelve Hundred Review

The Twelve Hundred is a gaming case from Antec. Created with hot components in mind the Twelve Hundred focuses on the basics: cooling those components, and showing them off at the same time. The largest gaming enclosure from Antec, the Twelve Hundred has tons of room for multiple over-sized graphics cards, and a great deal of cooling capacity with tripple 120mm intake fans, dual 120mm exhaust fans, and an oversized 200mm top exhaust, as well as two other fan mounts for additional cooling if necessary.

Yamaha YST-SW216 Review

The Yamaha YST-SW216 is an entry-level front-firing subwoofer that provides up to 100 watts of dynamic power. The subwoofer features Yamaha's advanced YST II technology in which the speaker and amplifier work together to cancel impedence and provide a high level of performance. It is designed with a 10" long-stroke cone driver and a high-density MDF cabinet for reduced vibration and resonance. The YST-SW216 offers a frequency response of 25 to 180 Hz and includes a selectable high cut filter of 40 to 140 Hz. It also features a linear port for reducing extraneous noise and is magnetically shielded.

Yamaha YMC-700 Review

The Yamaha YMC-700 is the upper model of two neoHD media controllers offered by Yamaha which features WiFi and Ethernet connectivity. The YMC-700 not only allows you to enjoy all your AV sources with high quality but also features an easy on screen operation GUI (graphical user interface) and simplified remote control that allows you to control all your AV devices. It has 3 HDMI inputs and 1 output with HDMI video upconversion from other inputs, including component and composite inputs and has outputs for a 5.1 speaker system. Pioneer HDJ-1000 Review

Pioneer's HDJ-1000 is a higher-end set of headphones, designed mainly for professional DJ usage. The speakers are high-powered, with a max 3500mW power input and 50mm dome drivers, and they have a high degree of sound insulation. The headset has a folding housing with swivel joints, and the housing is padded so that it can rest against your shoulders. They come with a stereo/mono switch that allows left and right channel sound monitoring in a single ear. These headphones also have a very wide range of frequency responses, between 5Hz and 30kHz. They use a coiled cable, approximately 4 feet long

Panasonic SDR-H79 Review

The Panasonic SDR-H79 is a relatively inexpensive camcorder that delivers more bang for the buck than more expensive Panasonic cameras such as the SDR-H200. It has a larger hard drive than other camcorders; the 60 GB of space can hold over two days work of continuous video recording. It has a great 70x optical zoom which makes it much better at grabbing the far away details. The 2.7 inch LCD viewing screen is a standard size for Panasonic camcorders, as is the Optical Image Stabilization and the SDHC memory card slot. The Panasonic SDR-H79 is mac compatible.


Sony SRS-DB500 Review

The SRS-DB500 is a powerful 3-piece multimedia speaker system from Sony's PC & Portable Speaker lineup.  The system comprises two satellite speakers and a subwoofer for bass-driven stereo sound that is recommended for playing music, movies, or PC gaming.  The satellite speakers provide a power output of 75 watts each while the subwoofer offers a power output of 150 watts, for a total system power of 300 watts.  The SRS-DB500 is designed with a black finish and includes convenient volume, power, bass, and treble controls.  It also offers a headphone jack for private listening and is magnetically shielded to avoid interference with the monitor.  The speakers include both stereo-mini and RCA inputs for connecting to portable electronics.

Samsung SyncMaster 2263UW Review

The Samsung SyncMaster 2263UW is a 22" widescreen LCD monitor that is designed for home and entertainment use.  The monitor features a native resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels with a 5ms response time and a dynamic contrast ratio of 8000:1.  It is designed with a glossy black cabinet and has integrated 1.5-watt speakers for accompanying stereo sound.  The 2263UW features Samsung's MagicBright technology which optimizes the display settings based on the task.  The monitor also has an integrated 3-megapixel webcam and microphone and offers a variety of connectivity including headphone, USB, D-Sub, and DVI /w HDCP support.  It comes with a swivel and tiltable stand and is wall-mount compatible.

eMachines EZ1601-01 Review

The eMachines EZ1601-01 is an all-in-one desktop featuring a PC, an 18.5” widescreen monitor, a keyboard, and an optical mouse.
